The 100 Black Men of Greater Dallas / Fort Worth, Inc., National Coalition of 100 Black Women Metropolitan Dallas and C.V. Roman Medical Society in partnership with Friendship-West Baptist Church presents Health & Wellness Community Expo 2023 Preservation of Health: Proactiveness in Preventing Diseases that Effect our Community.

• How to determine if entrepreneurship is right for you

This will be a Mental Health Awareness program to discuss symptoms of depression and how to manage depression in your daily lives.

Increasing awareness of domestic violence against black women and how to best advocate for an end to the cycle of abuse. A panel discussion, moderated by Schretta Stewart-Mays, will feature Erika Wilkins, Esq., Dr. Traci Perry, Dr. Pamela J. Randolph, Renee Hendrix-White, Major Phyllis Nobles, and Tiffany Wilkerson.

The conversation will provide insight into the legal aspect and victim’s experience associated with domestic violence and will include information on how to access resources to help the abused and their offender.

This is a FREE in-person panel event that will be hosted at Paul Quinn College

Join the conversation as we partner with Ms. Charlotte Simms, Client Relations Officer with Neighborhood Credit Union to educate the community on:

● Exploring the importance of credit scores

● Learning how to access information about your credit score and report

● Creating strategies to build and improve credit

● Identifying ways to protect credit from incorrect claims and fraud

Join us for an exciting afternoon immersed in the arts featuring a performance by the Dallas Black Dance Theatre and live music performed by Clover the violinist as we raise funds to provide scholarships to young Black girls in the Dallas Metroplex.

Join the conversation as we partner with Ms. Charlotte Simms, Client Relations Officer with Neighborhood Credit Union to educate the community on:

● Determining personal obstacles to budgeting

● Creating a format to track and analyze spending

● Create short and long term goals

● Understanding the importance of debt reduction and emergency savings

● Applying strategies to manage day to day spending

Learning etiquette life skills can build confidence and help teens sail through in any situation.
